* David Verbeeck & Door van Boeckel the voices of Timon and Pumbaa are Flemish actors. Arnold Gelderman came up with the idea to take Flemish actors because Simba runs away to another country and the Netherlands and Belgium border in real life as well.
* The song The Morning Report Mufasa is done by Peter Blok (Coen Flink already past away) & Simba is done by Laurens van de Werken

* On the first VHS edition here in de Netherlands the title was spelled as Leeuwekoning without the N (Leeuwenkoning) this used to be the correct Dutch spelling at the time. We later switched to Leeuwenkoning, and now we are (unfortunately IMO) using the English title all together.
