Trivia
* Frieda van Hessen, the singing voice of Snow White in the 1938 version, was from Jewish decent and she survived WWII by going into hiding. She died in 2021 being 106-years old!
* Wam Heskes was named in the newspapers (for his role as Happy in the '38 version) by the name of Koos Koen. This is one of the alter egos he took on in many of his shows.
* Kurt Gerron was a German director, and directed both the German, and Dutch 1938 versions. He was Jewish, and was deported to Auschwitz, he was killed with his wife on the 28th of October, 1944.
* Coen Hissink (Bashful 1938) joined the resistance during WWII, he was send to Neuengamme, a concentration camp. Hissink died there in 1942.
