Maria de Booy

Maria de Booy is a Dutch actress, and was born in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland.
​
After succesfully completing the Montessori Lyceum in Amsterdam, de Booy went to study at the Amsterdam Theatre School after this Maria also completed the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She did this before she had her debut in 1955 with the musical Pas op, kijk niet om, at Comedy the Hague, a theatre group she was a part of for seven years. De Booy also worked on comedy shows, together with Sieto, and Marijke Hovig. After this de Booy played in some (tv) films, and series, such as: Dagboek van Amy, O, kijk mij nou, Schuld en Boete, Het Meisje met het Rode Haar, Mata Hari, Het Bloed Kruipt, De Zomer van '45 en Iris.
